Automobile insurance
provides bodily injury and property damage coverage for harm caused
by a vehicle. It may also provide coverage for damage to one's own
vehicle caused by some external situation. The cost of this coverage
is affected by many factors, including where the policy owner lives,
his/her driving record, and the type of vehicle to be insured.
|
 |
Homeowner's insurance
provides coverage for the insured's dwelling. It also provides coverage
for other structures (detached garages, sheds, pools, fences, etc.)
on the property, as well as for the contents of the home. Homeowner's
insurance also covers liability for claims or suits made against the
owner. Apartment or condominium owners are also eligible for homeowner's
insurance.
|
 |
Boatowner's insurance
provides coverage for boats and other related property. Additionally,
it provides liability protection for the insured's operation, maintenance
and use of any boat.
|
|
 |
Dwelling fire coverage
provides protection for property that is not owner-occupied on a full-time
basis (e.g., vacation home) or is rental property. Coverage is typically
more limited than that offered by a homeowner's policy, insuring losses
due to fire and other specified perils. Coverage for personal property
in the building is also available.
|
 |
Personal umbrella insurance
provides excess liability coverage over and above that provided by
individual auto, home, or boat policies. This coverage is used to
provide high limits of liability when the insured is involved in a
catastrophic accident.

Level-term life is the
simplest type of life insurance; it provides the largest immediate
amount of insurance at a given age for the premium dollar. The policy
owner pays a premium to an insurance company and in return is guaranteed
that, at death, a sum of money will be paid to the beneficiaries as
long as premium payments are made.

For a free, no-obligation
quote, or to complete an online request, please call the toll-free
888 number listed on your member I.D. card. Tell the customer service
representative which type of coverage you are interested in, and you
will be connected to the insurance specialist who can best serve your
needs. If you have existing policies, it is best to call 60 days before
they expire. Having your current policy handy will give you a more
accurate comparison of available coverage, but it is certainly not
required. Please call any time for a quote or application.
